Principal

Mr. Jeff Frankowiak is proud to be serving as the principal of the Virtual Campus. He is committed to fostering a school environment that students, staff, and families feel a sense of belonging. As a firm believer that culture drives student achievement, Jeff is committed for the Virtual Campus to constantly grow and evolve in order for all of our students to reach their fullest potential. He often remarks how fortunate that he is to work with the dynamic group of student-centered faculty and staff that are on the Virtual Campus team.

Julie Rains
Program Consultant- Instructional Innovation

Ms. Julie Rains is an Instructional Technology Designer and Program Consultant at Virtual Campus.  In her role, she invites all learners to expand their view of technology, remixing hands-on making opportunities with cutting edge digital tools. Julie finds true joy co-designing alongside teachers and students to create unique and innovative learning adventures. She is committed to continuously improving the field of education and serves as a faculty member at the Project Zero Classroom Summer Institute at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Julie finds inspiration from her travels around the world and appreciates the beauty of small moments.  A Maker at heart, she is always looking for the next object to transform into something new. 

Samantha Marr
Counselor

Mrs. Samantha Marr is passionate about the education field and supporting students in all areas of learning. Samantha graduated with her Masters in School Counseling in December 2021. Before counseling, she was a middle school math teacher for 6 years. Samantha loves all aspects of learning from exploring new ideas, to setting goals for the future. She believes that learning looks different for every student and is excited to foster learning environments that will benefit all students. Through academic support, college and career readiness, and social emotional learning, Samantha is here to support the families of the Rochester Virtual Campus.

Liz Schroeck
Interventionist

Mrs. Liz Schroeck is the Academic Interventionist at the Virtual Campus. Prior to this role, she's been a third grade teacher for the past 17 years. Her favorite part about teaching third grade is watching students begin the year as "little kids" and leave as "big kids." They learn so much, especially in writing! When she's not teaching, she enjoys traveling, knitting, gardening, reading, and canning food she's grown. Teaching in the Virtual Campus has opened her eyes to all the incredible digital tools that help kids learn and grow outside of the traditional classroom.

Kym Strozier
Virtual Campus Secretary 

When you call or visit the Virtual Campus or ACE High School you will be greeted by a  friendly voice. Kym Strozier (students affectionately refer to her as "Ms. Kym") brings several years of experience within Rochester Community Schools to her position as Virtual Campus secretary and is excited to make connections with you and your family throughout your time at as Voyagers. In her free time, Ms. Strozier enjoys spending time working with Veterans with Volunteers of America and is an avid Marvels fan.  A maker at heart, she also enjoys designing her own brand of inspirational t-shirts.
