Jeff Frankowiak

Mr. Jeff Frankowiak is proud to be serving as the principal of the Virtual Campus. He is committed to fostering a school environment that students, staff, and families feel a sense of belonging. As a firm believer that culture drives student achievement, Jeff is committed for the Virtual Campus to constantly grow and evolve in order for all of our students to reach their fullest potential. He often remarks how fortunate that he is to work with the dynamic group of student-centered faculty and staff that are on the Virtual Campus team.

Paul Kennedy
Interim Academic Administrator

Mr. Paul Kennedy has been proudly serving Rochester Community Schools since the beginning of his educational career in 2010.  During that time, Paul has taught at a wide range of buildings throughout the district, including: Reuther Middle School, ACE, Adams, Stoney Creek and Rochester High School, the Virtual Campus, and the Summer Learning Program. Paul earned his bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University in Physical Education and Health, and continued his education to earn a master's degree in Education Administration from the University of Michigan – Flint.  Paul’s mission has been to build positive relationships with students and staff, create student-centered learning environments, and provide all students with an appropriate pathway towards success.  Paul has always expressed how he feels that every student can learn, grow and be successful when provided a positive learning environment, a caring and committed educational team, and the right opportunity.  Paul looks forward to the opportunity to continue working with the wonderful students and families, as well as the committed staff within Rochester Community Schools.

Julie Rains
Program Consultant- Instructional Technology

Ms. Julie Rains is an Instructional Technology Designer and Program Consultant at Virtual Campus.  In her role, she invites all learners to expand their view of technology, remixing hands-on making opportunities with cutting edge digital tools. Julie finds true joy co-designing alongside teachers and students to create unique and innovative learning adventures. She is committed to continuously improving the field of education and serves as a faculty member at the Project Zero Classroom Summer Institute at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Julie finds inspiration from her travels around the world and appreciates the beauty of small moments.  A Maker at heart, she is always looking for the next object to transform into something new.

Patti Galuszka
Academic Interventionist

Mrs. Patti Galuszka has been a teacher in Rochester Community Schools for over 16 years and has experience working with students in kindergarten through 5th grade.  She received her bachelor and masters degrees at Oakland University, as well as, a Reading Specialist endorsement. She has a passion for teaching and learning!  As a lifelong learner, she is always looking for opportunities to grow. In her free time she loves spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, gardening, and enjoys spending time in nature.

Samantha Marr

Mrs. Samantha Marr is passionate about the education field and supporting students in all areas of learning. Samantha graduated with her Masters in School Counseling in December 2021. Before counseling, she was a middle school math teacher for 6 years. Samantha loves all aspects of learning from exploring new ideas, to setting goals for the future. She believes that learning looks different for every student and is excited to foster learning environments that will benefit all students. Through academic support, college and career readiness, and social emotional learning, Samantha is here to support the families of the Rochester Virtual Campus.

Theresa Fenstermaker
Virtual Campus Secretary 

Mrs. Theresa Fenstermaker is a proud mother of two students in the RCS district and an active participant and leader in the PTA. Theresa received her BS in Chemistry from Cedar Crest College and has worked in Environmental Science Laboratories from all positions from Lab Technician to Project Manager. When she isn’t helping out staff and students she spends her time volunteering and spending time with her family and her stockpile of yarn.
